Profile
The Deans’ Office unites the four faculties’ dean’s offices at the University of Klagenfurt, coordinating and helping to shape the respective faculties.
Acting as the operational hubs for the respective faculties, we support decision-making and development processes, ensure clear procedures, and provide transparent communication both within the faculties and with university-wide and external partners.
What we do
- Budget & Finance: We manage the entire budget process – from forward-looking planning and targeted allocation of resources to continuous budget monitoring.
- Human Resources: We provide structural advice and support the departments and faculty leadership in all HR matters and strategic personnel development.
- Committees: We organise faculty conferences and coordinate committee appointments in consultation with the relevant university authorities.
- Processes & Organisation: We contribute to designing efficient workflows and clear organisational structures.
- Communication & PR: We ensure smooth internal and external information flow and strengthen the visibility of the faculties.
