To ensure that your studies in Klagenfurt get off to a good start, we strongly advise you to start looking for accommodation straight away, as the housing situation in Klagenfurt is currently very tense. There is a shortage of around 250 places in student dormitories.
A positive letter of admission does not mean that you will get a place in a dormitory.

Accommodation mailing list of the ÖH Klagenfurt/Celovec
To find out about accommodation in and around Klagenfurt, you are also welcome to sign up for the accommodation mailing list of the ÖH Klagenfurt/Celovec (Austrian student union). The housing officer collects information on new accommodation options for students and regularly sends out the offers to the recipients of the mailing list. Please note that this is an information service and that the subscription to the mailing list does not include personal assistance in finding accommodation; you are responsible for contacting the respective landlord or landlady directly.
To register for the mailing list, please use the listing “Student accommodation/ Unterkünfte für Studierende” on the digital notice board of the University of Klagenfurt.
Please note: In some cases the mailing list is not displayed directly on the first page of the notice board, please also check the other pages.

If you are contacting a prospective accommodation provider or you are being contacted based on a public advertisement, you are strongly advised to exercise great caution.
