Continuing education programmes

The University of Klagenfurt currently offers around 30 continuing education programmes: 1.100 students attended these courses in the summer 2019/20 semester. This course offer makes the University of Klagenfurt one of the largest academic institutions to offer continuing education in Austria. The continuing education programmes of the University of Klagenfurt are tailored to meet the complex training and development needs of today’s professionals, companies and organisations.

If you love learning and have an inquisitive mind, then the Liberal Studies for Seniors programme is for you! The programme has no formal academic entry requirements.

Development programme for alumni

The Alumni Network and Careers Service form a bridge between students and the world of work. Representing students, graduates and companies, they offer access to a wide network of contacts and a comprehensive range of services, which includes a development programme for alumni.

Deutsch In Österreich language courses

The “Deutsch in Österreich” language centre’s experienced and committed tutors deliver high-quality language courses and offer students one-to-one support.

Internal training

A comprehensive programme of internal training is available to the staff of the University of Klagenfurt.
