Think outside the box on school green blackboard

The University of Klagenfurt accompanies individuals who are eager to learn: their whole life long.

At the University of Klagenfurt, you can choose from academic continuing education programmes for people who have already completed a regular degree programme, those who are still in the middle of such a degree programme, and also for individuals who have not yet had any university experience. The offer ranges from continuing education programmes to microcredentials programmes and specifically tailored individual programmes.

Continuing education programmes

The University of Klagenfurt currently offers 17 continuing education programmes, which are attended by more than 800 students. This makes the University of Klagenfurt one of the large academic institutions to offer continuing education in Austria. Continuing education programmes offer top-quality academic continuing education. They are tailored to meet the complex training and development needs of today’s professionals, companies and organisations.

Microcredentials Programmes

Microcredentials programmes are short continuing education programmes in areas in which the University of Klagenfurt has the relevant scientific expertise.  They range from 2 to 15 ECTS credits (1 ECTS credit corresponds to approx. 25 hours of work). The requirements for participation are specifically defined; formal enrolment is not necessary. After the positive completion of a microcredentials programme, the university issues a certificate.
