Profile
The Financial Directorate oversees the following organisational units: Controlling, Finance department, and Procurement. These organisational units report to the Director of Finance.
Controlling is a business service unit that primarily supports the Rectorate of the University of Klagenfurt in planning, controlling and handling the entire financial administration (global budget, Section 27 financial management, Section 26 projects, and university certificate programmes) by collecting, preparing, providing and processing data and information. The Finance department is responsible for all central accounting matters. The areas of responsibility include financial, fixed asset and balance sheet accounting as well as the support of the SAP reporting tool users. The Procurement department is responsible for all central procurement activities including delivery and invoice processing.
