The Human Resources department is responsible for the administration of all personnel matters. It is the contact point for all employees with regard to labour law issues (labour, social and tax law) and it represents the employer, i.e. the university, in all personnel matters. Responsibilities include:
HR management in relation to all staff categories
Payroll accounting for all staff categories
Support and guidance of the governing bodies, members of management and employees in all matters relating to personnel law.
The University Office is the competent authority for all federal civil servants assigned to work at the University of Klagenfurt (Section 125 of the Universities Act 2002).
