The Lange Nacht der Forschung (Long Night of Research) is the largest research event in Austria.
The Lange Nacht der Forschung guides visitors through the world of research and academia across an event space spanning around 130,000 square metres, offering an insight into a variety of academic disciplines via interactive displays.
The next Lange Nacht der Forschung will take place on 24 April 2026. More details to follow at www.lnfktn.at !
The “UNI FOR KIDS. Children’s university for primary schools” gives school children the opportunity to get to know the university and university research over the course of a morning. The university hosts a total of four events per year. Each event is open to 50 children from grades 3 and 4.
Would you like to invite researchers and research communicators from the university to visit your school or attend an event? Take advantage of the subject-expert science ambassadors provided by Young Science!
