Welcome Center for international students

The Welcome Center of the University of Klagenfurt is the central point of contact for all international students who wish to pursue studies at the University of Klagenfurt, as well as for non-degree students with a refugee background who are studying at the University of Klagenfurt as part of the MORE programme. The aim of the Welcome Center is to support international students in settling in smoothly, integrating into everyday academic life, and experiencing a welcoming environment at the University of Klagenfurt.

The Welcome Center supports international students from the time of admission and throughout the entire student life cycle in matters such as entry and residence, accommodation, and learning German.

It administers the University of Klagenfurt’s grant for German language courses, and promotes the social integration of international students through various projects and networking opportunities.
