Scholarship for language training abroad

The language scholarship is a grant for students taking language courses at overseas universities or language schools for a minimum of two weeks up to a maximum of four weeks.

Application criteria

• Student must be in the second credit-bearing semester of study
• Student can be taking any degree programme

Application procedure

Online application via Student Portal: Under “My applications” > “File new application” > ” Applications related to mobility programmes” > “Scholarships” > “Scholarship for language courses”

Upload the following documents:

• CV
• Confirmation of registration on a language course

Submission deadlines

Two weeks prior to beginning of the language course

Terms of the programme

EUR 400.00 for one two-week language course and EUR 800.00 for one four-week language course.

Consideration will only be given to complete applications that are received by the application deadline.

After the mobility

Every student who receives a scholarship must submit an outgoing student feedback form to the International Office within a month of completing their stay abroad. The letter confirming attendance on the course should be uploaded in MOBIS. The scholarship is transferred after the stay abroad has come to an end and after the required documents have been provided.
