ICM at AAU
Since 2015, Erasmus+ programme has been promoting international mobility of students and university staff through Key Action 1 not only within the EU programme countries (Key Action 103/131), but also between programme and partner countries (Key Action 107/171). AAU has been taking part in the Erasmus+ ICM programme from the very start in 2015. Numerous mobilities with partner universities in Australia, India, Israel, Georgia, Japan and Ukraine, among others, have been carried out under this funding programme.
Within the framework of the Calls 2022, 2023 and 2024 AAU has Erasmus+ ICM project funds available for mobilities with selected partner institutions in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, India, Israel, the USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Ukraine, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Following outgoing student mobilities are available for the summer semester 2026 (application deadline: 25 November 2025):
Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo): 3 semester spots
Duration of stay: 5 months
Monthly grant: EUR 700,- + one-off travel allowance EUR 211,- resp. EUR 285,- in case of sustainable travel
