Abstract
Recent developments in artificial intelligence have brought to light the capabilities of these systems in the domain of text and poetic production. In many cases, such poetry demonstrates a high degree of proficiency in imitating human poetic features. Nevertheless, a fundamental distinction between human-written and AI-generated poetry remains. AI systems may simulate the surface features of poetic language, but they fall short of constituting meaningful poetic form.
Zur Person
Fatemeh Masdari received her Ph.D. in Art Research from Al-Zahra University of Tehran. Her research focuses on philosophy of mind, aesthetics, and digital culture. She is currently a research fellow at the KFG-Centre for Advanced Study “Access to Cultural Goods in Digital Change,” University of Münster, Germany.
