Introduction on how to use the library for students
During the upcoming winter semester, the library will be offering interested students introductions on how to use the library on the following dates:
Objective: To find out what the university library has to offer and to find your way around
Contents: Use of the online catalogue, use and loan modalities, tour of the library (textbook collection, journal collection, semester collections, open stacks)
Maximum number of participants: 15
Minimum number of participants: 3
Meeting place: Loan desk (level 1)
Course duration: approx. 1.5 hours

Surf@ubk & e-resources
In the upcoming summer semester, we will be offering information events (Online-Courses) for the Surf@ubk search engine and the “Electronic resources” field on the following dates:
Objective: To learn how to use the Surf@ubk search engine and a range of electronic resources. E-books, e-journals and databases
Contents: Introduction to the Surf@ubk search engine and the variety of electronic resources available on campus
Maximum number of participants: 8
Minimum number of participants: 3
Online-Course via “Classroom” (https://classroom.aau.at)
One day before the event, an inviatation with access date will be sent by e-mail.

If, in connection with a tour, borrowing cards are issued for the entire school class (or the majority of the class), we request you to follow the following procedure:
- Please collect the forms from all pupils. (school ID, confirmation of residence, declaration of liability)
- Email these to schalter.bibliothek(at)uni-klu.ac.at or drop them off at the loan desk at least five days prior to the tour. If possible, a list of the pupils stating their names, dates of birth, email addresses and telephone numbers would be advantageous.
- After the tour, the cards will be issued to the pupils. Each pupil will then be required to pay € 13 and to sign the reader master data sheet.
