The Department of Information Technology (ITEC) at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt addresses the computer and communication technology and engineering aspects of the Informatics study program. ITEC has two full professors and three associate professors and, typically, more than 20 scientific, technical and administrative staff in total. The Department’s research focuses on distributed and parallel systems, multimedia communication, and multimedia content analysis and interaction.
