Born as a local initiative, the Museum opened in 2006 the new exhibition path in the historical restored site of the largest knives factory of the surrounding area. As a part of the eco-museal network “Lis Aganis” (ecomuseum of the Western Dolomites) the museum is constantly working with partecipatory approach in order to involved the local community and the stakeholders.
