Svenja Diegelmann is Assistant Professor (Postdoc) at the University of Klagenfurt. Her research focuses on furthering the understanding of health and well-being decisions of consumers. She is especially interested in consumer decisions in health care and ways to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities. Her joint work has been published in international journals such as the International Journal of Advertising, the Journal of Social Marketing, Patient Education and Counseling, and Resuscitation Plus. She also presented her work at international conferences such as the Association of Consumer Research (ACR) Conference, the International Conference on Communication in Healthcare (ICCH), the European Marketing Association Conference (EMAC), the International Communication Association (ICA) Conference, or the International Conference on Research in Advertising (ICORIA).
From 2017 to 2021, Svenja Diegelmann was a PhD candidate at the Department of Marketing and International Management at the University of Klagenfurt. She completed the interdisciplinary doctoral programme „Health and Sustainability Communication and Management (HSCM)“ with distinction. Previously, she finished the Master of Science in International Management with an exchange semester at the University of Tasmania in Hobart. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Intercultural Studies with majors in English Language and Business at the University of Bayreuth and the University of Chester with first class honours.
