Research Group Information Systems
The Information Systems (INFSYS) research group focuses on the use of advanced technology for the development of complex and adaptive software applications. The main research theme of the group lies in the area of recommender systems, where we are both interested in novel algorithmic approaches and in the impact of automated recommendations on their users.
Other research topics include natural language processing, algorithmic debugging of spreadsheets and novel approaches to model-based software development.
Master Theses
We have different openings for Master thesis projects, for example in the area of recommender systems. We are also open for industry collaborations. Contact Prof. Jannach (dietmar [dot] jannach [at] aau [dot] at) in case you are interested.
