Welcome Days on 2-3 October: Make contacts and collect your first ECTS credit!
At the Welcome Days you will get important information about your studies and help getting started in university life! Take this opportunity to get to know your fellow students and professors. Participation in the Welcome Days also counts as a course and earns you 1 ECTS credit!
What do you have to do? Register for the 000.100 Welcome Days course in the student portal, take part in the eight interactive info lectures on the Moodle learning platform and attend the programme on campus on 2 or 3 October 2023.

Tip: The programme on 2 October is mostly in German, the programme on 3 October is mainly in English.

BeFirst! Mentoring programme for first-generation students
BeFirst! is your mentoring programme if you are the first in your family to study. Our mentors are students at the university themselves and will support you in all aspects of your studies. They will introduce you to the academic learning culture and support you in all related matters, such as creating a timetable, registering for exams or applying for a scholarship. Tip: The course “BeFirst! Schreibwerkstatt und Coaching für First-Generation-Studierende” accompanies you in your first semester: The course connects you with other students and helps you to overcome the hurdle of academic work. There is room for your individual questions, regardless of your field of study. You will receive 2 ECTS points for the completed BeFirst! course and can have them credited to your open electives. Are you interested? Register via the course list in the student portal.
