The MSc programme aims to equip students with a sound understanding of the techniques of Artificial Intelligence, as well as the foundational techniques that underpin Cybersecurity. Considerable emphasis is placed on their intersection (i.e. Artificial Intelligence techniques to support Cybersecurity, and Cybersecurity techniques that enable secure Artificial Intelligence) and on the social, ethical and legal aspects that arise in their practical use.

Special admission procedure
To apply for the Master’s programme, applicants have to register online first. After they have created their personal account for registration, applicants have to upload a letter of motivation in English as well as further documents needed for the administrative procedure, such as a CV, a transcript of records, a Bachelor’s certificate as well as a copy of their passport. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.

Prerequisites
Applicants have to go through a special admission procedure to start the Master‘s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in Klagenfurt.
Applicants must also meet the following conditions:
- Bachelor's degree programme in either computer science, mathematics, statistics, or any related field within the wider range of science or technology degree programmes; in particular applicants need to demonstrate some knowledge of basic computer science concepts (either via courses/modules during your BSc or any kind of projects). Applicants also need to demonstrate personal and professional qualities that make them suitable for this MSc degree programme.
