Early Career Researcher Vianney Kambale received the award at the conference, which took place from 23 to 25 July 2025 in Zimbali, South Africa. Vianney Kambale, who is conducting research as a doctoral student at the Department of Smart Systems Technologies in the Transportation Informatics research group, is attempting to look into the future using data from yesterday and today.
In November 2024, Chitchanok Chuengsatiansup was appointed as Professor of Cybersecurity.

Nassikhat Utemgaliyeva is an Ernst Mach Fellow from Kazakhstan and a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Slavic Studies at the University of Klagenfurt.
