Price categories / Participant categories

For all classes there are three tiered price categories (tariff 1 / tariff 2 / tariff 3) which apply to different categories of participants.

Here you can find which tariff applies to which group of participants:
Course registration for “university affiliated” persons is possible on the first day of registration – the following participant categories belong to this group:

Tariff 1

Current students up to the age of 30
(Evidence: valid registration confirmation or inscription registration from the current semester)
Note: Current AAU students are automatically assigned a tariff approximately 5 days after payment of ÖH fee / university fee for the current semester
Date of birth: Record date summer semester 01.02. / record date winter semester 01.09.
AAU general staff members (“AAU”)

Tariff 2

Current students from to the age of 30
(Evidence: valid registration confirmation or inscription registration from the current semester)

AAU scientific staff
Staff members of the Pädagogischen Hochschule (Teaching College) (“PH”)

Staff members of the Fachhochschule Kärnten (University of Applied Science) (“FH”)

Staff members of the Gustav Mahler Privatuniversität für Musik (Gustav Mahler Private University of Music) (“GMPU”)

Tariff 3 – Graduates of AAU minus 10 % and Academics (registration 4 days following the first day of registration for “University Affiliated Persons”)

Course registration for Graduates of AAU upon submission of an Alumni Card and Academics is possible 4 days following the first day of registration for “University Affiliated Persons”

Graduates of AAU upon submission of an Alumni Card
(A discount of 10 % from the tariff 3 price is available upon submission of an Alumni Card. This card can be requested at alumni [at] aau [dot] at. The 10% price reduction is not available without this card.)
Academics
(i.e., persons holding academic degrees, with appropriate evidence of degree)

Tariff 3 – External (vacant places) (registration seven days following the first day of registration for “University Affiliated Persons”)

Course registration for “external persons” for any vacant places is possible seven days following the first day of registration for “University Affiliated Persons”)

all other persons 18 years old or older
