The International Peer-Mentoring Programme supports international students during their first semester at the University of Klagenfurt.
International students are accompanied by higher-semester students (mentors), who answer important questions and provide mentees with orientation at the university.
You are an international student in your first semester at the University of Klagenfurt? You have questions about your studies, the university or life in Klagenfurt? You want to meet students from higher semesters who can share tips and show you around? We got you!
Our mentors are students from higher semesters who want to support you at the beginning of your studies. You can contact us at any point during the semester to get in touch with one of our mentors.
You can come to our Open Hours or join one of our Infoevents.
You can join our Moodle course to find out more about the mentors or find more helpful information for international students.
All our offers for students are free of charge and do not require pre-registration!
Open Hours
Come meet us during our Open Hours! You can drop by without an appointment.
The mentors are there to have a chat, support you and answer all of your questions.
When? Starting in the second week of the semester, every Monday and Wednesday from 4 – 5 pm.
Where? In our room O.0.11.
Starting on 11 June 2025, the Open Hours will take place in room M.0.22a.
On the following days, the Open Hours are not taking place: 17 March 2025, 28 April 2025, 14 May 2025 & 9 June 2025. The Open Hours will also not take place during the Easter holidays.
Infoevents
We host Infoevents about important topics for international students on a regular basis. During our events, we help you navigate your studies, get to know local life and meet fellow students.
Feel free to come by without registration. To get notified about our current events, join our Moodle course and check your student e-mail.
