Purpose limitation, data recipients

Your data will be processed exclusively by ZE Uniservices and the responsible mentors for this purpose and will not be passed on to third parties beyond that.

Legal basis

Your personal data will be processed on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR.

Storage period

If you register for the program and thus consent to the processing of your data for this purpose, the data you provide will be processed in the course of the project management of “BeFirst! Mentoring Program for First-Generation Students at AAU” and in case of follow-up questions, stored for two years in the Uni Services department. This data will not be shared without your consent.

Your Rights

Your participation in the program is voluntary. You have the right to revoke the consent you have given at any time by sending a written notification to dsb [at] aau [dot] at with effect for the future. The lawfulness of the processing based on this consent is not affected until revocation. A revocation has the consequence that you can then no longer use the services of the program. You are generally entitled to the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data transfer, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can complain to our data protection officer or to the Austrian data protection authority.
