24/7 library

All registered users of the University Library have 24-hour access to the library after activating the 24/7 library.

Online tutorial: Registration for 24/7 library service

Important: Information services at the counters and the collection of orders from the closed stacks are still limited to the previous opening hours. It is possible to borrow books from the open stacks via our self-service kiosks in the entrance area.

Registration for the 24/7 library is possible via the campus system under “my settings” > 24/7-library (“Meine Einstellungen” >> 24/7-Bibliothek.) OR for students via student cockpit under accounts > 24/7 library.

Activate the 24/7 library at least 24 hours before your first use!

Carry your AAU card always with you!

Do not pass on your AAU card to anyone else!

Only enter the security system individually – both when entering and leaving the library!

After pressing the button or using the card reader, the system opens the doors for one person only and closes them again immediately afterwards. Each additional person must operate the button or card reader independently. If several people attempt to pass through the security system at the same time, the alarm will be triggered.

Please note: Only one person at a time is permitted to pass through the entrance AND the exit.
