Inform yourself! Do you have questions about studying or campus life? Twice a month on Thursday from 1 to 4 pm we advise prospective students individually and without registration in our offices in the O-building (above Café Como and the Sparkasse) on the second floor.

Open Day

School’s finished so what now?  At the University of  Klagenfurt’s Open Day, you can get help, support and advice on the programmes and training courses available at the university.

The University of  Klagenfurt’s next Open Day will be held in spring 2019.

The Open Day gives you the chance to attend workshops and short lecture tasters, take a tour of the campus and library, and find out more from current students and staff about the University of  Klagenfurt programmes and courses.

Received a top grade in your school leaving qualification?

The Faculty of Management and Economics’ international funding programme is aimed at students who have passed their school leaving qualification with an “excellent” or “good” grade and who are starting a Bachelor’s degree programme in Business Administration and/or Business and Law at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. If your application for the programme is successful, you will be guaranteed a place at a partner university for your semester abroad!

The campus & local area

The University of  Klagenfurt is located in western Klagenfurt, close to Lake Wörthersee and is one of the few campus universities in Austria. The campus  covers a total area of around 100,254 m². The campus is also home to the University Sports Institute (USI), the most modern institute of its kind in Austria. The University of  Klagenfurt campus is surrounded by a wide range of accommodation and eating options, which makes it the perfect place to learn, relax and unwind!
