Services surround our daily lives in numerous ways. However, the subject of Service Management is still a very fresh part of the economic map. It is characterized by many different specialist influences. Thus, connections to marketing, production or social psychology – just to name a few – are easily drawn. The subject can therefore be described as multi-facetted, young, and interdisciplinary, which makes it an exciting and diverse subject of study in teaching and research.
Our teaching covers the subject in its entire width from production-oriented aspects to market-oriented content. Our research is behavior-oriented and relies on socio-psychological approaches, as it is ultimately the individual behavior of market players, which is the basis for business management. We stand for modern, sophisticated teaching and scientific excellence in our work.
