At the Visual Culture Unit, we focus on visual popular culture (film, photography, TV, Internet, computer games, advertisement) as well as fine and performing arts in our research and teaching activities. Multidisciplinary approaches from art history, pictorial science, film and media sciences, philosophical image theories and cultural studies are combined.
