Annual Conference “Konsum & Verhalten” 2024

The annual conference of the research group “Konsum & Verhalten” took place at the Alpen-Adria-University of Klagenfurt from September 19th to September 21st, 2024. The conference was jointly organized by the Department of Marketing and International Management and the Institute of Media and Communication Studies and thus had an interdisciplinary focus.

In addition to exciting scientific presentations on the participants’ current research projects, the guests were able to get to know not only the AAU itself but also Klagenfurt through the supporting program.

The scientific program enabled an interdisciplinary exchange on topics related to consumption and behavior and contributed to the expansion of the participants’ methodological skills. As part of a guided tour of the campus, the guests were able to gain an insight into the Popper Collection, and the drone hall was also visited. Klagenfurt itself got to know better on a guided tour with a night watchman.

Culinary delights were served to the participants not only during the conference at the buffet but also in the evening in local restaurants.
