Extendend access to electronic resources (ebooks, ejournals, databases)

In order to help you deal with the current restrictions we would like to support you by offering you extended access to electronic resources.

Many publishing houses unlock parts of their electronic offers temporarily for free and also extend remote access. Location independent as well as time independent access is possible– please check your proxy settings.

PROXY-SERVER: In order to use the electronic resources outside the university (via Surf@ubk, DBIS etc.), please check your browser settings for the so-called proxy server (instructions available in German only).

Please find here a current overview of the extra offers which are made available as well as information on remote access:

Remote Access:

to the following law-databases:

  • Linde Digital
  • RDB
  • Beck-Online: instructions on how to configurate online-access can be accessed via this link
Whenever VPN is mentioned in this context the instructions actually refer to the university’s proxyserver. Please note that you need to be connected to the proxyserver before starting your registration, otherwise the “Kostenlos registrieren”-button won’t show up.
