Psychosocial work: promoting competences and encouraging development

Stefan Weisbach completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Psychology at AAU and was also involved in the Austrian Students Union (ÖH) for several semesters. During his studies, he organised major student integration football tournaments, for example with the participation of ASPIS, the Psychosocial Centre for Refugees and Victims of Violence. Today he runs a child and youth welfare institution in Carinthia and runs his own practice for psychological counselling, coaching and psychosocial support in Klagenfurt. Read more

Emanuel Pirker hat an der Alpen-Adria-Universität „Angewandte Informatik“ studiert und ging 2010 in das Silicon Valley, um dort die Software-Firma Stratodesk zu gründen. Heute ist Stratodesk mit Sitz in San Francisco und Klagenfurt ein etabliertes IT-Unternehmen mit über 1.000 Kunden weltweit. Manuela Hofer-McIntyre studied English and American Studies as well as Media and Communications at AAU. She now works as Academic Coordinator at the University of Wyoming in the USA. Look to the right and left

Dr. Rosita Anna Ernst completed her diploma and doctoral studies in Psychology at AAU Klagenfurt. Back then, she was involved with the ÖH (Austrian Student Union) for a long time, also as chairwoman. Today she is team leader at Caritas and runs her own practice in Vienna as a systemic family therapist and child and youth therapist. Reunited with … Sarah Hüttepohl

Sarah Hüttepohl studied Media and Communications Science and Applied Business Administration at AAU and has been working since 2012 as an editor for the documentary series ‘Bergwelten’ (mountain worlds) and ‘Retroalpin’ (retro alpine) at Servus TV. Sarah is originally from the German city of Wuppertal, and is passionate about winter sports and the Alps.
