2G-Access regulations (also for the library)

Starting on 10 November 2021, the 2G rule applies in all university buildings, and thus also covers the university library.

Proof of vaccination as well as certificates confirming recovery and isolation orders can serve as proof of 2G. PCR tests, antigen tests, and certificates confirming the presence of antibodies are NO LONGER accepted.

We offer the following options to library users who, for various reasons, cannot comply with these rules:

  • The use of the extensive electronic resources via the search engine surf@ubk. In the event that certain resources cannot be used from home because of licensing restrictions or for technical reasons, please contact bibliothek [at] aau [dot] at.
  • Use of physical media: We can support you with the retrieval and provision of physical media. Here too, please contact bibliothek [at] aau [dot] at. These items must then be collected or returned during counter opening hours by the authorised representatives defined by you.
