The Information Systems (INFSYS) research group focuses on the application of intelligent system technology to practical problems and the development of methods for building knowledge-intensive software applications.
The mission of the Intelligent Systems and Business Informatics (ISBI) research group is to promote the scientific understanding of the mechanisms underlying intelligent behaviour and their embodiment in machines as well as their potential to benefit our society.
The key research areas of System Security (SYSSEC) research group include Applied Cryptography, Security Infrastructures, IT Risk Management, and the Design and Evaluation of Security Concepts.
The focus of Semantic Systems (SEMSYS) research group will be methodological foundations and specific application fields of semantic systems.
AINF research groups lead and participate in a number of national and international research projects, ranging from fundamental research to application-oriented research in cooperation with several industrial partners.
