The mission of the Intelligent Systemsand Business Informatics (ISBI) Research Group is the advancement of knowledge representation and reasoning in the area of artificial intelligence with a particular focus on applications in various areas such as production systems or medical information systems.
The key research areas of System Security (SYSSEC) include Applied Cryptography, Security Infrastructures, IT Risk Management, and the Design and Evaluation of Security Concepts.
The focus of Semantic Systems (SEMSYS) will be methodological foundations and specific application fields of semantic systems.
