Practical Experience (Bachelor’s degree)

As part of the Bachelor’s degree, students are entitled to replace elective courses worth 6 ECTS with practical experience. This experience must be related to your chosen specialisation, either “Nonprofit Management” or “Public Management” and must last at least 8 weeks (minimum 20 hours per week). Please make sure to hand in the registration form (see below) and receive approval before beginning your internship.

At the end of the practical experience, you need to complete the course 601.100, ” Facheinschlägige Tätigkeit in der Praxis / Practical Experience” and hand in a report (10-15 pages).  The final report and the internship confirmation (see below) must be submitted in PDF format via email to Puma [dot] office [at] aau [dot] at no later than two weeks before the start of the following semester.

A positive confirmation requires that the relevant practical experience has been completed to the extent required by the curriculum and that a qualified activity report is submitted.
