Florian Thurner of ND Projects GmbH in our interview about the University of Klagenfurt Technology Scholarships

Florian Thurner, Managing Director of ND Projects GmbH, introduced us to the company and spoke to us about the good cooperation with the scholarship holder, Nadja Dardagan, and the advantages of the Technology Scholarship.

Can you briefly introduce your company to us?

Our company, based in Villach, was founded almost 3 years ago as a subsidiary of the Vienna-based Network Dimensions. With 15 employees in the Villach-Sankt Magdalen Technology Park, we now serve customers from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.

As a Microsoft GOLD Partner, we develop and distribute one of the leading ERP industry solutions „MEGABAU“, specialized in construction and trade. We help our medium-sized customers to optimize and digitalize their most important business processes.

We support our customers in the analysis of existing processes and the development of solutions to their requirements, from training and testing to the start of operations. With our approach we help our customers to use the chances of digitalization and to organize their company in a cost-efficient and competitive manner.

What is your position in the company?

I am the managing director.

Can you tell us about your experience as an internship provider within the framework of the „University of Klagenfurt Technology Scholarships“ scholarship programme? What are the advantages of participating in the scholarship programme for your company?

Due to our strong growth and the lack of resources in the IT sector, we decided to participate in the scholarship program. Thanks to the program we have gained an employee who was able to familiarize herself with our area of expertise during the scholarship. After completion of the internship she will be taken on by us in a full-time position.

Employees that stay with us in the long term are of great importance for our complex software solution, which includes a long training phase and a continuous learning process and specialization. With Ms. Nadja Dardagan we have found an excellent, highly committed employee and we look forward to further cooperation with the University of Klagenfurt.
